was up for promotion as Fire Chief in the Los
Angeles area and had to pass a reading and writing
test to get the promotion. I knew I wouldn't pass
it. I thought I had been able to hide it from
my work and family, But when my wife found out
I had this test coming up for promotion, she called
Tracy Sherwood to help me. It was embarrassing
at first, but that went away as I began to make
progress, which was in the first session. Her
method and calm approach made me relax and handle
the walls I'd built up and strengthen the weaknesses.

Here's
a policeman's story
"
I had 30 days to improve my reports or lose my
job. I couldn't spell and my poor grammar
made it difficult to understand my reports. I
don't know how I ever graduated from high school
because I don't think I learned much of anything
from all my years of education. I got help from
Tracy Sherwood and my job is secure and report
writing is a breeze compared to before. I have
a lot more free time and I continue to improve
on a daily basis.. It's now progress naturally
because I have the foundation and techniques to
build on. This is actually a commen problem for
police officers. This program should be implemented
into the police department and academys.

This
Farming Foreman was in big trouble
"I
was foreman of a million+ acre farming company
in central California. I'd been foreman for over
25 years, I owned a luxery home and my kids had
grown and gone without ever finding out I couldn't
read. Or, at least I thought they didn't
know. I was getting up there in years and couldn't
quite handle the physical aspects of the job any
more. The company was moving me to corporate and
I was frantic because I would have to read and
write in my new position. To make a long story
short, two short months with Tracy Sherwood gave
me enough improvement to take on the new job and
continue to improve. It's been four months since
I started in corporate and I feel more comfortable
now than when I didn't have to perform with reading
and writing as a foreman. I thank Tracy very much.
There was no other way to go but up.
